Our president, Karl Porth, started in the metal bending industry in 1984 when he became the National Sales Manager for J.A. Richards Company, a metal bending equipment maker. He left that company in 1992 to found Porth Products Company. Since then we have been the North American distributor for the Ehrt bus bar fabrication system, as well as producing our own line of bending products. When J.A. Richards folded in 2006, we bought some of their assets and now manufacture their machinery and supplies.
Karl Porth is recognized as an expert in the metal bending field and consults with companies on how to best form their product. He also holds several patents in the metal bending industry.
